SAN DIEGO (August 5, 2008) — Look out Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan, Ed Bassmaster just signed an endorsement deal with Large Software making him the highest paid comedian sponsored by a software company in Southern California.  The comedian has just signed an endorsement deal with Large Software (www.largesoftware.com), a provider of easy-to-use consumer software.  YouTube legend, Ed Bassmaster, has been named one of the top 100 comedians in market and has a large following of viewers who scour the web to see his latest videos.  The terms of the deal are not public but the rumor mill has speculated that a lifetime supply of deep fried Twinkies may be included.

Bassmaster’s deal with the company, makers of the popular PC Tune-Up™ 2.0 software, also names him as Chief Entertainment Officer, a job title he has long sought to hold. His years of experience performing stand-up and sketch comedy routines in Philadelphia and New York have prepared him for this critical role within the company.

“I am looking forward to working with the people at Large Software and promoting their great software,” Bassmaster explained.  “Corporations are often stuffy and their YouTube tactics and blogs can be boring.  Large Software has a totally fresh approach to marketing and they get my sense of humor.”

Fans worldwide, or even slightly interested parties, can view several of Bassmaster’s videos at www.largesoftware.com/bassmaster/.    Large Software will also have merchandise, newsletters and other material that feature Ed Bassmaster and his array of characters, which have garnered over ten million Internet video views.

“Our product, PC Tune-Up, is a product for the masses,” said Nick Forcier, CEO of Large Software.  “Parents, seniors, kids, can all use our product to return their PC systems back to peak performance so we wanted our sponsor to be just as universal.  We aren’t your usual software company and I think by striking a deal with Bassmaster proves that, and our users can have a great time watching Ed and seeing what he does next.”

SAN DIEGO (June 3, 2008) — Large Software (www.largesoftware.com)
, a provider of easy-to-use consumer software, today announced that their popular PC Tune-Up™ 2.0 software is compatible with the newly released Microsoft Service Packs for the Windows XP (SP3) and Windows Vista (SP1) platforms.  With today’s larger storage capacities, people are using their computers to archive massive amounts of important documents and personal files. It is more essential than ever to actively protect home and office systems to keep them running at peak efficiency.

“Everyone loves how fast and efficient their computers are when they first bring them home,” said Nick Forcier, CEO of Large Software.  “Our goal with PC Tune-Up is to give consumers a simple and affordable way to return their systems to this pristine and optimized condition.  We’ve taken all the guess work and hassle out of keeping your computer running like it did when you first bought it.”

PC Tune-Up 2.0 brings a user’s computer back to life by removing the items that cause crashing, slow speeds, freezing, and that can impact the overall health and efficiency of the computer.  A perfect tool for novice users and experts alike, PC Tune-Up will improve a computer’s speed and reliability – all with one easy download.

Unlike competing tools that lack the ability to protect against Active X dangers, check for invalid files or schedule regular and automated checkups, PC Tune-Up does all of this and more:

Why do computers need a tune-up on a regular basis?
The Windows registry is an essential database for each computer that stores settings and options for the Microsoft Windows operating system. It contains information for all the hardware, software, and preferences settings on the computer. Whenever changes are made to the control panel settings, system policies, or software, the changes are reflected and stored in the registry.

Because the registry is so huge and complicated, it can develop troubles that cause strange problems or even bring a PC to a grinding halt. The longer Windows is used, the more cluttered the registry can grow, especially if software is regularly installed and uninstalled.

The easiest way for a Windows user to clean their registry is to use PC Tune-Up. With the click of a button, PC Tune-Up will scan the registry for these fragmented files, bring them together, and safely remove them.

Availability and Pricing
Priced affordably for small businesses and individuals, users can try PC Tune-Up for free by downloading a 31-day trial or by purchasing the full version for $29.95 at www.largesoftware.com.
